As October continued on and we entered the long haul of peak wedding season, Shane and Brooke’s wedding day at Creekside Farm Weddings and Events came upon us!
It was at the point in October where all of the beautiful fall colors were beginning to fade away. We had noticed some of the trees in our neighborhood start to loose their colors. This was a clear sign that the end of fall was near. Although, it’s like the fall colors knew they needed to hold out at Creekside for Shane and Brooke’s wedding day! This wedding had some of the most beautiful fall colors we have EVER seen!
So beyond the gorgeous fall colors, let us tell you more about Shane and Brooke’s amazing wedding day! It was one for the books, filled with so many memories for everyone involved! Thinking back to this day, we can hear the laughs and joys of excitement from the energy in the air.
Fall Wedding at Creekside Farm:
On our drive to Creekside Farm Weddings and Events, I could feel myself getting a bit nervous with all of the fall colors. Looking out the window, many of the leaves had lost their color like I had mentioned. But all of those anxieties drifted away as we turned into the driveway of the venue. Although you could see that fall was ending, it was like a barrier was built around the venue to preserve all of those beautiful colors! Nature works in funny ways and we were so blessed with these colors!
First, before we forget, we want to give a huge shoutout to the owners of Creekside Farm! It was our first time being Wedding Photographers at Creekside. When we met the owners they were so sweet. They made sure we had everything we needed to do the best job possible. Seriously, they were some of the sweetest people ever and it was so awesome to be able to work with them for Shane and Brooke’s day!
Before the wedding day, we had looked up pictures of the venue to get a feel for its layout, but honestly, this barn was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! As photographers who have shot at a handful of venues, you can always tell when a lot of care has been put into a space and that’s exactly how we felt with Creekside.
Getting ready at Creekside:
Bridal suite Creekside :
Meeting with Brooke and her bridesmaids in the gorgeous bridal suite, we caught the girls as they were getting their final touches done on their make up. We’ve said it before (and of course, we’re going to say it again) but the energy in a bridal suite is UNMATCHED. So much time and energy has been put into this day and seeing it all come to life is the best feeling!
While Brooke put on her dress and made the final touches, Shane and the guys were wrapping up with getting ready. We got to take some really fun photos of Shane with his groomsmen on the balcony attached to their suite. These guys were so fun to be around! Meanwhile, Brooke had a first look with her bridesmaids!
The Grooms Suite at Creekside:
Once everyone was ready, we had brought Shane down to this cute gate that Creekside has, to wait for Brooke for their first look. Watching these two finally get to see each other was so impactful. You could clearly tell they had been waiting all morning for this moment. No matter how many first looks we get the honor of shooting, the reactions never cease to amaze us!
First Look at Creekside:
Shane and Brooke decided to do a private vow reading together. Walking through the fall covered forest that Creekside offers, these two exchanged their intimate, yet fun vows. We love the intentionality behind this and choosing to have that moment for you and your partner is such an admirable decision!
Before these two got to finally say, “I Do!”, we took their wedding party and family photos! Wedding party photos can be one of the best parts of a wedding day when you have the right group of people! This group was energetic, fun, and all around so excited to be with Shane and Brooke on their big day. We love seeing ways the people who mean most to our wedding couples, come out to show their love and support!
Outdoor Ceremony at Creekside:
With that, Shane and Brooke tied the knot while all of the important people in their lives cheered them on! Tucked away in the forest, this ceremony space was absolutely stunning! It allowed just enough cover with the trees while still allowing the light to poke through. We found out later that Creekside Farm offers a bunch of other places for your ceremony! It’s so cool to see such a versatile venue.
As Shane and Brooke made their way around during social hour to talk with their family and friends, we loved snapping pictures of all their interactions. Shane and Brooke had told us that one of their priorities for their wedding photos was that they wanted a lot of pictures WITH their guests. We knew this was such a sweet and genuine way to be intentional with your wedding photos!
Making their grand entrance into the reception, Shane rode in on Brooke’s back! If we had to choose one photo to really sum up the energy of the whole wedding day, it would have to be one of these! It highlights their personality as a couple so well!
Sunset Photos at Creekside:
After reenergizing with some delicious food, we all went out for some epic photos of just them! Although we typically call these sunset photos, the sun did not choose to bless us with its presence but, in hindsight, that didn’t matter they were just as meaningful! Despite their wedding day being cloudy and over casted, Shane and Brooke’s entire wedding day was still so beautiful! Little did you know an overcast day is a photographers dream to work with so we are not battling with the harsh sunlight!
Heading back to the barn, it was time to dance! Since Brooke is a dance instructor, it was no surprise when all the guests hit the dance floor! There was even a Conga dance with Brooke leading, as they all danced the night away.

All in all, Brooke and Shane’s wedding day was incredible. We are so grateful to have been apart of these amazing individual’s wedding day at such a beautiful venue. Like we had mentioned, the owners of Creekside Farm are so sweet to work with. They were so involved in Shane and Brooke’s day. We’ll never forget all of the memories from Shane and Brooke’s wedding day. We can’t WAIT to shoot at Creekside Farm again!
